For some patients, massage therapy is a medically necessary part of their care. Often this is just in the initial stages of care, though there are some chronic conditions for which massage therapy can be useful. Massage therapy services are billed to your insurance only if Dr. McVay recommends them as medically necessary in your case. That said, massage services are available to anyone (whether a patient of our clinic or not) for regular fee-for-service rates.
